In a scene all too familiar to long time Northridge, or Valley residents -- this time it was Chino Hills which was hit by a 5.4 earthquake earlier today.
Students at LAUSD schools were evacuated onto school playing fields until structures were deemed safe to return to.
Classes will resume as usual tomorrow.
If you haven't had the "Earthquake Talk" with your kids, it's never too early to have a plan; explain to them what to do and what not to do; make sure each child has a working flashlight in his or her room. And of course, time to recheck that you have all your emergency supplies updated and stored in an easily accessible location.
By the way, Ron Kaye says God was not pleased with our City Council this morning. They voted to raise our trash tax tremendously.
And then the earthquake hit. Hmmm... coincidence?
I'm just sayin'....
